Institute for Evangelization This institute founded in the United States prepares catechists who will effectively promote Catholic doctrine. It provides formation in the areas of doctrine, catechetical methodology, spiritual and pastoral support. Faithful to the magisterium of the Church, the Institute for Evangelization places special emphasis on the permanent formation of catechists in the faith, encouraging them to be faithful witnesses of Christ''s love and message. The members of the Institute for Evangelization work together with local churches in catechesis and by sponsoring youth organizations. The Treasure of My Catholic Faith This is an educational project that seeks to promote knowledge of and appreciation for the treasure of Catholic faith both at home and at school. It consists of a series of books for grades K-12 whose content is drawn from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, while implementing the new advances in the area of traditional and modern educational research. Textbooks come with a complete set of resource materials: videos, songs, teacher''s guidebooks, liturgical notebooks, and more. Full Time Catechists The Legionaries of Christ implemented a plan for forming and maintaining professional, full-time catechists in Latin America over 20 years ago. Its purpose is to check the tremendous advance of secularism, religious indifference, and the proselytism of pseudo-religious sects. The Full Time Catechist project is intended to support bishops by preparing evangelizers and placing them at the service of dioceses and parishes. These committed lay men and women, working as couples or individually, function as catechists. They always work in close cooperation with bishops and parish priests. In order to carry out their work, full-time evangelizers receive a salary that enables them to live decently while fulfilling their specific mission.

The Legion serves the Church and others through schools, universities and centers to form the character and Christian virtue of families, youth, and married couples, as well as the Christian and humanitarian development of the poor. Legionaries serve the local churches through catechesis, missions, media apostolates, and they offer diocesan priests ongoing formation courses in their dioceses. The name sums up a Christ-centered spirituality in which Jesus Christ is the center, standard, and model of a Legionary''s religious, priestly, and apostolic life. LOVE FOR CHRIST Legionaries seek to experience and know Christ intimately in the Gospel, the Eucharist, and the Cross. They strive to love Him in a personal and passionate way by imitating as their only model of holiness.
